Okinawa R30 Summary

The R30 is yet another addition in Okinawa’s electric scooter line-up for the Indian market. As for its positioning, the R30 is just a wee bit more affordable than the Okinawa Lite, which, in essence, makes it a very compelling value-for-money product. The design of the R30, however, is very similar to the Okinawa Ridge, which also gets a sleek horizontal cluster on the front cowl that houses the indicators, and a chunky headlamp on the front apron as its design highlights.

Okinawa R30 Exterior Details

In a nutshell, the Okinawa R30 looks very identical to the more affordable Ridge. As far as dimensions go, the scooter is 1,725mm in length, 695mm in width, and 1,080mm in height. It has a ground clearance of 160mm and a seat height of 735mm.

Okinawa R30 Engine & Transmission

At the heart of the Okinawa R30 is a 48V BLDC motor that generates a peak power of 250W coupled to a 1.25kWh detachable lithium-ion battery. Further, it comes mated to an automatic transmission. As far as its riding range is concerned, the Okinawa R30 mileage is rated at 48km on a single charge.

As for the mechanicals, the electric scooter gets 3.00 – 10-inch wheels on both ends, coupled with telescopic forks suspension at the front and twin rear shock absorbers at the back. Lastly, it gets dual brakes on both ends.

Okinawa R30 Features

When it comes to features, the Okinawa R30 new model boasts E-ABS (Electronic- Assisted Braking System) with regenerative energy as part of the standard safety equipment. It also features a fully-digital instrument cluster, which shows all the necessary rider-centric information. As for its electricals, both the headlamp and taillamp miss out on LEDs.
