On the other hand, the bikes above 350cc witnessed&nbsp;a modest decline of 5.80%, with 10,358 units sold. Meanwhile, international shipments also&nbsp;contributed to the growth, with 2.43% to 10,265 units.</p><h2>Royal Enfield Sales: MoM (Month-on-Month), YoY (Year-on-Year) Performance</h2><p>The company’s total sales dipped 19.43% from October’s 1.25 lakh units. The domestic market bore the brunt of this decline, dropping 22.63% month-on-month from 1.17 lakh units in October to 90,405 units in November. <p>Despite no mechanical similarities with the smaller 350, the Classic 650 instantly feels familiar. The moment you lay eyes on it, you know RE has nailed the brief again. It’s a true modern classic – the silhouette is unmistakably Classic, the proportions are beefier, and the detailing is spot-on. Round LED headlamps, analogue dials, authentic metal bodywork, and those gorgeous colourways – every element is exquisitely executed. Compared to the 350, which is no featherweight itself, the 650 looks brawnier, all thanks to its 648cc parallel-twin engine and low-slung twin exhausts. At 243kg, it’s quite hefty too, but once you’re on the move, the weight quickly disappears – just like your worries.</p>

<p>On the go, the power delivery is creamy, performance effortless, and the relaxed ergonomics turn every ride into a therapy session – yes, even on the racetrack.     If there’s one motorcycle that’s built for those who take life easy, it’s the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350. The name says it all. It’s a motorcycle that embraces the Goan spirit of susegad – relaxed, carefree, and unhurried. One look at it tells you exactly what it stands for. The bobber-inspired design is a visual delight, featuring clean, flowing lines, a single-seat layout, whitewall tubeless spoked tyres, and retro details that give the Goan Classic genuine presence. Pair that with quirky yet tasteful colour options, and you’ve got a motorcycle that turns heads wherever it goes.</p>

<p>It was easily one of the most striking motorcycles on the track, even though it had no business being there in the first place. Underneath its old-school design sits the familiar 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine, which also powers the Classic and Meteor 350. <p>This is a bike that loves to cruise, not chase lap times. But that didn’t stop us from testing its limits at the Buddh International Circuit. Given its limited cornering clearance, the feeler bolts wore down quickly. However, the relatively stiff suspension setup provided decent stability around corners. <p>At 197kg, the Goan Classic is not a lightweight machine, but its low 750mm seat height and upright ergonomics make it accessible and comfortable. The tall ape-style handlebars add to its laid-back attitude and don’t really compromise handling during everyday use. Whether riding around town or heading out for a lazy Sunday coffee run, the Goan Classic 350 feels perfectly at home. The Goan Classic isn’t about speed or precision. It’s the kind of motorcycle that makes you want to slow down, take the long route, and perhaps stop for a photo or two along the way.

<p>Ironically, this same stiffness – a flaw in the real world – is what allows the Bear to shine on the race track. Despite posting a lap time of 1:25.3 – earning a dismal 1.6/5 for performance – the bike felt surprisingly planted, sharp, and extremely torquey on the smooth tarmac of the BIC. It’s not fast, but it feels planted. This is not an off-roader; it’s a stiff on-road canyon carver in scrambler clothing.</p>

<p>The engine, scoring a solid 7.5/10, is another of the bike’s highlights. <p>Overall, the Bear 650 is a confusing motorcycle. For the price it commands, you can get more comfortable and capable motorcycles. While it looks fantastic and has a strong engine, it left the jury wanting more. In fact, the other 650cc Royal Enfield in this year’s lineup felt like a better thought-out and more cohesive package.

 The new 2-into-1 exhaust and revised tuning make the Royal Enfield Bear 650 feel livelier and snappier, with a nice spread of performance in the low- and mid-range.

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 was one of those motorcycles that sparked quite a debate among the jury at this year’s track day. On the one hand, it’s undeniably more refined and enjoyable than before. It’s a motorcycle that’s easy to like both on and off the tarmac. On the other hand, it still feels like a model that’s not quite finished. The ingredients are all there, but the recipe could use a bit more flavour. The Scram 440 uses the same re-bored LS 411 engine that powered the older Himalayan, paired with a new 6-speed gearbox. Its power and torque figures have increased slightly by 1bhp and 2Nm, respectively, compared to those of the older 411cc engine. It’s not blisteringly quick, but it’s definitely more polished.</p>

<p>On the track, however, the Scram 440’s limitations were quite apparent. Its natural playground lies elsewhere – take it on real-world roads, and the Scram 440 redeems itself admirably. It soaks up bumps and potholes with ease, thanks to 190mm of suspension travel at the front and 180mm at the rear. Given its 200mm ground clearance, it can also tackle mild trails and rough backroads with ease. It’s not an all-out off-roader, but it carries just enough dual-sport DNA to keep things interesting.</p>

<p>It now comes with a new LED headlight and fresh colour schemes. On higher trims, it also gets alloy wheels with tubeless tyres – a step up in terms of practicality. Lower variants, however, still come with traditional wire-spoke wheels with tubes. Royal Enfield Scram 440 at autoX Awards: Best Bikes of 2025 Ranked

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 soaks up bumps and potholes with ease, thanks to 190mm of suspension travel at the front and 180mm at the rear. 

<p>Festive cheer and recent tax cuts have significantly boosted sales for many OEMs.&nbsp;Royal Enfield has emerged as a key beneficiary,&nbsp;with over 2.49 lakh motorcycles sold during September–October, a 26% YoY growth.&nbsp;In October 2025, the company sold 1.25 lakh units, up from 1.11 lakh units sold in the same month last year&nbsp;– a 13% increase. Domestic sales grew by 15%, reaching 1.17 lakh units, while exports declined by 7% to 8,107 units. For comparison, Royal Enfield had sold 1.02&nbsp;lakh units domestically and 8,688 units internationally in October 2024.</p><p>Commenting about the performance for October 2025, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director - Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer Royal Enfield, said, 'This festive period has been truly special for all of us at Royal Enfield, as the festive spirit translated into an overwhelming response from customers across the country.
