Bajaj Pulsar 125 Highlights
Bajaj Motors has expanded the Pulsar portfolio by adding a new economical 125cc offering, the Pulsar 125 to the line-up. Design-wise, the Pulsar 125 looks more or less identical to the rest of the Pulsar range – barring the NS and RS line-up. It continues to have the same boxy headlamp design at the front, clip-on handlebar, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. However, Bajaj has spruced up things by adding neon highlights to the body, further accentuating the old design.
As for the exterior, the Pulsar 125 is no different from the rest of the Pulsar change. In terms of dimensions, the Pulsar is 2,055mm in length, 755mm in width, and 1,060mm in height. It has a fuel tank capacity of 11.5-litres and a ground clearance of 165mm.
Engine & Transmission
Powering the Pulsar 125 is a 124.4cc single-cylinder unit mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The air-cooled motor is capable of churning out 11.8bhp and 11Nm of torque. As for the Bajaj Pulsar 125 mileage, it is capable of returning 62km/l.
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 rides on a telescopic fork suspension setup at the front and a twin gas shock at the rear. As for the rubber, the Pulsar sports an 80/100 x 17 size tyre at the front and a 100/90 x 17 size tyre at the back. While drum brakes are standard across the range, a front disc brake is reserved for the top-spec trim.
When it comes to safety, Bajaj has equipped the Pulsar 125 with CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard across the range. While the taillamp is an LED unit, the headlamp and side indicators are fitted with conventional bulbs. As for the instrumentation, the Pulsar 125 gets a conventional tachometer next to a digital screen that covers the essential data such as the speedometer, fuel gauge, and trip meter.
