Motohaus'&nbsp;newly launched VLF Tennis electric scooter has bagged over 300 bookings within a month of its India launch in mid-November, according to the remarks by Motohaus India's Managing Director, Tushar Shelke, on the sidelines of the recently concluded India Bike Week 2024.&nbsp;Italy's VLF (Velocifero) and the UK-based Brixton&nbsp;Motorcycles entered the Indian market on November 18 through Kolhapur-based KAW Veloce Motors, a company responsible for handling manufacturing and distribution in the country. VLF introduced the premium electric scooter, the Tennis, while Brixton brought out the&nbsp;Crossfire 500X,&nbsp;Crossfire 500XC, Cromwell 1200, and the Cromwell 1200X.&nbsp;

Launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.30 lakh, the VLF Tennis features a neo-retro design reminiscent of timeless Italian scooters. The scooter gets&nbsp;a 1.5kW hub motor drawing power from a 2.5kWh battery pack. VLF claims a range of 130km and a top speed of 65km/h. <h2>Brixton Motorcycles: Price, Specifications</h2>

Coming to Brixton Motorcycles, the&nbsp;Crossfire 500X, Crossfire 500XC,&nbsp;Cromwell 1200, and the Cromwell 1200X had been launched at Rs 4.74 lakh,&nbsp;Rs 5.19 lakh, Rs 7.84 lakh, and Rs 9.11 lakh, respectively. The prices are ex-showroom.&nbsp;The first two are based on the 500cc platform, while the latter two&nbsp;are bigger-capacity 1,200cc, twin-cylinder motorcycles.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;Brixton Crossfire 500X is a cafe racer with a rugged setup and a 47bhp&nbsp;twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, while the Crossfire 500XC is a scrambler with the same engine as the 500X.&nbsp;Weighing 195kg, the scrambler&nbsp;is 5kg heavier than the cafe racer&nbsp;and has a&nbsp;taller seat height of 839mm.&nbsp;As for the 1,200cc motorcycles, the Cromwell 1200 is a roadster with a retro design similar to vintage British motorcycles from the '50s and '60s. The&nbsp;Cromwell 1200X is a scrambler sporting&nbsp;a similar retro design with a few visual differences such as a small flyscreen, headlamp grille, and block-pattern tyres. In order to expand its portfolio&nbsp;in India, Brixton is believed to launch another motorcycle called the Storr 500 here. Showcased in a production-ready guise at EICMA 2024, the Brixton Storr 500 will be a neo-retro motorcycle taking inspiration from the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the like.&nbsp;It will have a 486cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine&nbsp;that delivers 47bhp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm of peak torque at 6,700rpm.&nbsp;

The VLF Tennis electric scooter is available in India through Kolhapur-based KAW Veloce Motors, a company responsible for handling manufacturing and distribution in the country.

Italian two-wheeler brand VLF has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its electric scooter, the Tennis. Priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), the Tennis will be sold and assembled in India by KAW Veloce Motors. KAW Veloce Motors plans to establish 20 dealerships across India by mid-2025 and will sell VLF and Brixton motorcycles through its MotoHaus outlets. The Tennis is set to be delivered to customers starting November 25, 2024.

In addition to the Tennis, KAW Veloce Motors also launched the Brixton motorcycles with four bikes in India: the Crossfire 500X, Crossfire 500XC, Cromwell 1200, and Cromwell 1200X, priced between Rs 4.74 lakh and Rs 9.11 lakh (ex-showroom).

The KAW Veloce Motors Tennis is a compact electric scooter designed for urban commuting. Powered by a 2.5kWh removable battery pack, it offers a range of up to 130km (IDC) and a top speed of 65km/h. The scooter's 1.5 kW hub motor enables it to handle inclines up to 18 degrees and operate in temperatures ranging from -5 degrees Celsius&nbsp;to 45 degrees Celsius. The included 720-watt charger can fully charge the battery in approximately three hours.
