The company's model lineup of Defender 130 now comprises the standard Defender 130, the Defender 130 V8, and the Defender 130&nbsp;Outbound. For those unaware, the&nbsp;standard Defender 130 along with the Defender&nbsp;90, and the Defender 110 are available for purchase in the home market. The Outbound Edition allows large or small equipment to be carried while exploring any terrain as it comes with up to 2,516 litres of boot space and a near-flat loadspace floor. It gets a 5-seat configuration, whereas the V8 version has a&nbsp;three-row layout with room for up to 8 people.</p>

<p>On top of these additions, the company also introduced the County exterior pack for the Defender 110 in SE and HSE derivatives, offering enhanced personalisation. The Defender 110 now offers&nbsp;illuminated tread plates with county graphics, 20-inch alloy wheels finished in Gloss White, and interior upholstery &amp; trim options, besides providing&nbsp;county graphics along the doors and body panels.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for its interior, prospective buyers have the liberty to choose between Windsor leather and Resist fabric material options that are done in Ebony. On offer is also an Ebony Morzine headliner and a signature cross-car beam in Satin Black.&nbsp;Besides, the car gets&nbsp;rubber floor mats that allow you to prevent the bumper from minor damages. The feature list of the Outbound model includes a 4x4 system with Terrain Response, electronic air suspension and adaptive dynamics as standard, and advanced off-roading technologies to explore all kinds of terrain. This comprises a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, heads-up display, connected car technology, wireless charging, a Meridian audio system, 14-way electrically adjustable front seats, a 360-degree surround camera, matrix LED headlights, and 20-inch wheels. It also has an 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the most recent Pivi-Pro software.</p>

<p>The Defender 130 comes with two engine options in India: a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine that cranks out 394bhp of maximum power&nbsp;and 550Nm of peak&nbsp;torque. The second engine is a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder diesel mill with 296bhp&nbsp;and a maximum torque of 600Nm. Both engines receive mild hybrid support, are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and power is typically distributed to all four wheels. <p>In late 2021, Land Rover launched the Defender 90, which is in fact a three-door version of the five-door Defender we’ve had for over a year. As a matter of fact, there have always been two versions of the Defenders&nbsp;<span lang="EN-US" style="font-weight:normal">–</span>&nbsp;the Defender 110, which has a longer wheelbase, more doors, and practical cargo space, and the Defender 90, which is more off-road focused because of its shorter wheelbase.</p>

<p>Now, the SUV-maker is readying a longer version of the current generation SUV, which will likely be called the Defender 130. And it has been confirmed by the leaked design images.</p>

<p>The early generations Defenders had a 90-inch and a 110-inch wheelbase, thus&nbsp;the name Defender 90 and Defender 110. Since then, the vehicle has grown in size and the wheelbase has seen a substantial increase, but the names that were coined back then have stayed. The new model is likely to be called the Defender 130 and should have a longer wheelbase.</p>

<p>The increase in the wheelbase will mostly likely increase the cabin and cargo space. This means that the passengers in the middle-row will have more legroom.</p>

<p>In terms of features, the new Defender 130 will most probably be identical to the Defender 110. The mechanicals will be the same as the outgoing Defender 110. The 130 will retain the same engine options as the standard Defenders on sale, which means that by 2023, we might get to see the Defender 130 with a V8 engine.</p>
