Basic but tough and durable

<p>Primarily our Bolero is used for driving us on the bad countryside roads, and it does it quite well actually. I know one can get a lot better SUVs for the price of Bolero, but they are not true SUVs afterall. The Bolero is super sturdy and durable, and best of all can be serviced anywhere. Even a local garage mechanic will have no problem to fix it without any issues. Obviously, it is very crude, but if you have a purpose then it serves very well.</p>

The entry-level 59kWh pack produces 228bhp and has a claimed MIDC range of 521 kilometres. Meanwhile, the 70kWh&nbsp;variant delivers 241bhp and a range of 600 kilometres. The higher-spec 79kWh&nbsp;battery generates 282bhp and has a claimed range of 679 kilometres. The torque,&nbsp;however, is the same at 380Nm across all variants.</p><p>The Mahindra XUV 7XO keeps the engine lineup of the XUV700. Petrol variants run on a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that delivers 197bhp of maximum power&nbsp;and 380Nm of peak torque. The Mahindra XUV 7XO and XEV 9S have together accumulated 93,689 orders within the first four hours of bookings opening on January 14, 2026. 

<p>Mahindra has opened fresh bookings for the XUV 7XO, which went on sale earlier this month with an ex-showroom&nbsp;price of Rs 13.66 lakh. Pre-bookings for the SUV began on December 15 last year,&nbsp;with a token amount of Rs 21,000, although pricing details were not revealed at the time.&nbsp;The company has now initiated fresh bookings.
