2022 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight revealed

Harley-Davidson has revealed the updated Forty-Eight cruiser motorcycle in the international market, and it will make its way to the Indian market sometime in 2022.

On the 26th, Harley-Davidson will showcase a new motorcycle. But days before the official release of the new American motorcycle, Harley-Davidson has taken the wraps off the 2022 Forty-Eight.

The updated Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight sports a new set of colours – Vivid Black, Reef Blue, and White Sand Pearl. The changes are just skin deep, which means that the mechanicals are the same as before. Except for the fuel tank, which is coloured, all other body panels are finished in black; some bits, however, get a chrome finish.

The same 1,202 V-twin engine powers the motorcycle. The output of this air-cooled engine is 65.7bhp at 6,000rpm and 96Nm at 3,500rpm. The motor is paired to a five-speed transmission.

The updated colour pallet will be offered in India as well, but there is no official word about the launch timeline. Currently, the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight retails for Rs 11.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 model year, when launched, is likely to see a small increase in its price.

However, before the launch of the updated Forty-Eight, Harley-Davidson India may introduce the 2022 Pan-America before the end of H1 of 2022.
