The Hero Passion Plus has made a comeback in its 2023 avatar, three years after it was discontinued due to the BS6 norms. The motorcycle carries the updated drivetrain with OBD-2 (onboard diagnostics) technology and is compatible with E20 fuel, a blend of 20 per cent ethanol and 80 per cent petrol. However, the commuter bike comes powered by the same 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled mill that cranks out 7.9bhp of maximum power output at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm, making it the fifth product in Hero's line-up to get the long-standing air-cooled 'Sloper' motor. The gearbox is a 4-speed unit.

In addition, the 2023 Hero Passion Plus also comes with Hero's i3s start/stop technology. With these upgrades, the latest iteration demands Rs 76,301 (ex-showroom).
