2023 Honda Trail 125 Bike Unveiled Globally, Gets Engine Update and New Features

Honda has revealed the updated Trail 125, a mini motorcycle, for international markets. According to the company, the two-wheeler will be available for purchase in the American market and is unlikely to arrive here in India. Although, it offers the design, practicality, and features Indian customers would want. The bookings for the 2023 Trail 125 are already underway, which will be followed by the deliveries shortly. For the year 2023, the Trail 125 gets a revised long-stroke engine offering better low and mid-range performance. In terms of design, the 2023 Honda Trail 125 is built around a reinforced steel backbone chassis and has a rugged design language. Along with a couple of new features, it gets a large tail rack that is one of the most used features in rural markets. 2023 Honda Trail 125: Engine Details

Powering the 2023 Honda Trail 125 is a 124.9cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. For the model year 2023, it now has a long-stroke engine with a new bore and stroke, but the two-wheeler is claimed to offer better low and mid-range performance. This engine is paired with a 4-speed clutchless semi-automatic transmission. The bore and stroke now sits at 50.0mm x 63.1mm, and the new compression ratio is 10:1. With the upgrade, the Trail 125 now gets a new fuel injector for improved fuel efficiency, which is a courtesy of Honda's Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) system.

2023 Honda Trail 125: Suspension & Hardware

The suspension setup of the Trail 125 comprises 27mm telescopic forks at the front offering 109mm of travel and twin shocks at the rear offering 86mm of travel. Braking duties are handled by a single hydraulic disc at the front and a single 190mm hydraulic disc at the rear. There is also a standard front-wheel ABS. The updated two-wheeler rides on 17-inch wire-spoked wheels shod with 80/90 front and rear tyres. The kerb weight sits at 116kg.  

2023 Honda Trail 125: Features

Moving to the equipment, features include a traditional round LED headlight, a tall handlebar, a centre stand, a large tail rack, a kickstarter backup, heel-toe shifter, bash plate, high air intake, and up-pipe. Moreover, it also packs a digital instrument cluster.

2023 Honda Trail 125: Price

The 2023 Honda Trail 125 is available at a sticker price of around Rs 3.28 lakh ($ 3,999) in the US market. Price is ex-showroom.
