Ola Electric has announced new variants for their S1 and S1 Air electric scooters. The Ola S1 sits above the S1 Air in the company's product pyramid. Ola Electric Founder Bhavish Aggarwal announced that the Ola S1 Air will now be available with three new battery pack options – 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh. Previously, the S1 Air was only available with a 2.5 kWh battery pack. Customers who ordered the Ola S1 Air prior to today's announcements will have their order upgraded to the model with a 3kWh battery pack for free. The base S1 Air costs Rs 84,999, the mid-tier model costs Rs 99,999, and the top-tier model costs Rs 1.09 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Bengaluru.

The 4.5kW motor will be the same for all three models, but their operating ranges will vary. The 2kWh version of the S1 Air will have a range of 85km, while the 3kWh version will have a range of 125km. And the model with the 4kWh battery pack will be having a 165km of range. The newest version of MoveOS 3, which offers a number of new features, is also included with the Ola S1 Air. It can reach a top speed of 85km/h and has a 0 to 60km/h acceleration time of 9.8 seconds. The scooter needs about 4.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100 per cent.
Having said that, the same set of features is provided for all three S1 Air scooters – reverse mode, remote boot lock/unlock, smartphone connectivity, GPS, music playback, three ride modes (normal, sport, and eco), a 7-inch TFT screen, and side stand alert. All three models share the same standard telescopic front forks and rear shocks.
On its official website, Ola has started accepting bookings for the S1 Air for a token amount of Rs 999. Deliveries for it will start in July of this year. Additionally, buyers who booked the first S1 Air (2.5kWh battery unit) last year will get a free upgrade to the new 3kWh model.

Five dual-tone body colour schemes are offered for the S1 Air – Coral Glam, Neo Mint, Porcelain White, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver. The Ola S1 Air is priced at Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom) for the base model (2kWh), Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for the mid-model (3kWh), and Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec model (4kWh).
