2025 Kawasaki Eliminator Becomes Expensive by Rs 14,000 in India; Check New Prices

Kawasaki has revised the pricing of its popular cruiser, the Eliminator, in India by Rs 14,000, bringing its ex-showroom price to Rs 5.76 lakh. Despite the price hike, the motorcycle remains mechanically and visually unchanged. It continues to be available in a single Metallic Flat Spark Black shade, exuding a timeless cruiser appeal reminiscent of the larger Vulcan 650. It has a broad handlebar, minimalist LED indicators, a sculpted teardrop fuel tank, and a distinctive 2-into-1 exhaust setup. The ergonomics remain rider-friendly with a relaxed, upright stance, forward-set foot pegs, and split seat configuration, ensuring long-distance comfort with a stylish presence.

Kawasaki Eliminator 500: Engine and Hardware

At the heart of the Kawasaki Eliminator 500 lies a 451cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that delivers 44bhp of maximum power and 42.6Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed return-shift gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. Built on a high-tensile steel Trellis frame, the Eliminator offers a solid yet lightweight chassis setup. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock linked to a swingarm, ensuring a balance between comfort and stability.

The bike rides on an 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy wheel combination, wrapped in 130/70 and 150/80 section tyres respectively. Stopping power comes from a 310mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS. As for the features, the Eliminator has a retro-style round all-digital LCD display, showing a bar-type tachometer, fuel level, trip meters, and a clock.

Riders can also connect their smartphones via Bluetooth to Kawasaki’s Rideology The App, unlocking features like call and message alerts, maintenance reminders, fuel status, and riding logs. However, the Eliminator misses out on advanced electronic aids such as riding modes, traction control, or built-in navigation—keeping things simple and focused on the essence of cruising.

Other Developments

Kawasaki has introduced the 2025 Versys 1100 at a significantly more competitive ex-showroom price of Rs 12.90 lakh — nearly Rs 1 lakh lower than the previous model, which was last priced at Rs 13.91 lakh. Bookings are now open for interested buyers. Designed for long-haul comfort and capability, the adventure-tourer is powered by a larger 1,099cc inline-four engine that promises robust performance across varied terrains.

The 2025 model is available in three variants globally — Base, S, and SE. In India, however, it comes in only in the ‘Standard’ trim, finished in a bold Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray with Metallic Diablo Black colour combination.
