BMW Motorrad will unveil the production-spec F 450 GS on November 4, 2025, at EICMA in Milan. However, before that, the bike’s fuel tank and graphics have been teased on social media, offering fans an early glimpse of what’s to come. BMW enthusiasts will recall that the F 450 GS concept was first unveiled at EICMA 2024 and then at the Auto Expo in India earlier this year.
The most recent teaser shows the bike in a black finish, accented by contrasting white graphics. The gold-finished handlebar closely mirrors those seen on the concept, hinting that BMW may retain some of its design elements. However, how much of the concept’s design will carry over to the production version remains under wraps. Final specifications and details will be officially revealed at EICMA next month. For now, here’s a closer look at the expected highlights of the F 450 GS production model.

According to the early patent filings, the upcoming bike will have a classic GS identity with modern engineering. It is likely to carry over signature elements from its bigger siblings, the F 900 GS and R 1300 GS, including a tall windscreen, the iconic beak, and a bold X-shaped LED daytime running light. Possible adventure-focused features are gold front forks, a split seat, knuckle guards, sump protection, and a floating tail section.

Beneath its exterior, the F 450 GS is expected to ride on an all-new lightweight chassis. The suspension package reportedly includes upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, while a higher-spec variant could offer fully adjustable suspension. Riders can expect a feature-rich experience, with cornering ABS, different ride modes, a 6.5-inch TFT display, and traction control carried over from the concept.
The adventure bike is said to be powered by a brand-new 450cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, co-developed with TVS, producing around 48bhp. BMW is also rumoured to offer a semi-automatic gearbox option alongside the traditional manual transmission.
