Hero Mavrick 440 New Teaser Image Revealed Ahead of January 23 Launch

The Mavrick 440, a new 440cc motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp, has been teased with an exciting teaser. Designed in tandem with Harley-Davidson, the Hero Mavrick 440's teaser gives a glimpse of the bike's aesthetic approach. An H-shaped daytime running light (DRL) and a unique circular LED headlamp with a low profile are on display in the photo. A robust fuel tank with noticeable extensions will give you substantial looks. The rear end may sport a streamlined appearance with a unified seat. The initial look also gives the impression of a circular cluster of instruments, similar to the one on the X440.

Hero Mavrick 440: Hardware

Based on a recently circulated spy image, the next Hero bike is expected to have conventional telescopic front forks and a 17-inch wheel up front, instead of the Harley-Davidson X440's inverted units and a 19-inch wheel. It is probable that dual-channel anti-lock brakes (ABS) will assist a single 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc to control braking. In comparison to the X440, the riding position is much more upright, which means there's enough of room for a passenger. The spy photo also reveals a unique exhaust system, bar-end mirrors, and round LED turn indicators.

Hero Mavrick 440: Engine, Gearbox

Like the Harley Davidson X440, the Hero Maverick 440 is constructed on the same trellis frame, which serves as its structural foundation. The Hero Maverick 440 will likely receive unique tuning to bring out the most in its 440 cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine and 6-speed transmission.

While the specific power figures are still awaiting disclosure, in the Harley Davidson X440, the identical engine has demonstrated impressive performance. Notably, the power and torque statistics for this engine are recorded at 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm at 4,000 rpm, respectively.

Hero Mavrick 440: Price

You may expect the upcoming Hero Mavrick 440, which is modelled after the Harley-Davidson X440, to provide an affordable alternative to the X440. Just so you know, the base price of a Harley-Davidson X440 Denim is Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Vivid and S versions cost Rs2.60 lakh and Rs 2.80 lakh, respectively. When it makes its debut, the Hero Mavrick 440 will go up against bikes like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Triumph Speed 400.
