Now, you can purchase a new Hero MotoCorp two-wheeler and have it delivered to your doorstep without visiting a showroom even once!

Claimed to be an industry-first initiative, Hero MotoCorp has announced that it will now be able to deliver a new two-wheeler at a customer's doorstep. Hailed as a 'new standard in customer service', the service will attract an additional charge of ₹ 349 and for now, it has been rolled out in 3 cities: Mumbai, Noida & Bengaluru. In the subsequent months, Hero will extend the service to 25 Indian cities.

Those interested in the home-delivery service simply need to make their purchase via Hero MotoCorp's e-commerce portal, HGPmart.com. A customer simply needs to log in to the portal, select the product and the dealer from which the purchase will be processed, and then set up a time-slot in which Hero's third-party affiliate will collect all the necessary documents. As the last step, the vehicle will be delivered to the desired address once it gets a green signal from the respective Regional Transport Office (RTO).

Sharing his thoughts on the new initiative, Sanjay Bhan, Head of Sales (Aftersales & Parts Business) at Hero MotoCorp said, 'At Hero MotoCorp, we continuously invest in developing innovative processes and business models to ensure that our customers get the best in class experience. Our new initiative will raise the bar for customer experience in the two-wheeler category. We have been the first-mover in the e-commerce space, and we are continuing this trend by commencing this new service. The motorcycle or scooter can be delivered at any address of your choice, not just at your home.'

In 2018, Hero MotoCorp began the online sales of its spare parts via HGPmart.com. As the portal went on to receive successful reviews from the users, HeroMotoCorp then decided to shift the online booking process of the vehicles as well to this portal. The company claims that since this transition, over 4,000 bookings have been made using the e-commerce platform.
