Hero Vida VX2 EV Scooters

Hero MotoCorp has rolled out a limited-period price drop for its Vida VX2 electric scooter, making it significantly more affordable for prospective buyers. As part of this offer, the VX2 Go variant with Battery-as-a-Service now carries a starting price of Rs 44,990, while the VX2 Plus under the same plan is available at Rs 57,990, reflecting a reduction of up to Rs 15,000. The fixed-battery versions have also seen notable cuts, now retailing at Rs 84,990 (Go) and Rs 99,990 (Plus). Designed for everyday urban commuting, both variants are equipped with removable battery packs and deliver claimed ranges of 92 km and 142 km, respectively. With this revised pricing, Hero MotoCorp aims to make its most affordable electric scooter more accessible and boost sales in the competitive entry-level EV segment.

Hero Vida VX2: Battery and Range

The Vida VX2 is available in two variants, each offering different battery configurations and performance levels. The entry-level Go version is equipped with a single 2.2kWh removable battery, delivering a claimed range of up to 92 km.

The higher-end Plus variant features two removable battery packs with a total capacity of 3.4kWh, allowing for a longer range of up to 142 km. Both variants are powered by the same 8.04bhp direct-drive permanent magnet motor.

In terms of speed, the Go tops out at 70km/h, while the Plus can reach 80km/h. Acceleration also differs: the Go takes 4.2 seconds to go from 0 to 40km/h, whereas the Plus does it quicker in 3.1 seconds.

Hero Vida VX2: Charging Time

The Vida VX2 supports fast charging, allowing the battery to charge up to 80% in about an hour. Using the standard 580W charger, however, a full charge takes approximately 3 hours and 53 minutes for the Go variant and around 5 hours and 39 minutes for the Plus.

Hero Vida VX2: Features

Feature-wise, the scooter is equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT/LCD screen, offers Eco, Ride, and Sport modes, and includes smartphone connectivity.
