Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition in India for Rs 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 3,000 more expensive than the Pro model on which it is based. The Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar is distinguished by several elements, the most noticeable of which is the Dakar-inspired finish. Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition: What’s Different?

In addition to the paint scheme, the Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition features a bold ‘Dakar’ logo on the fuel tank and exclusive Hero graphics on the side panels. It also gets fully adjustable front telescopic forks with 250mm of travel, contributing to a 270mm ground clearance, ideal for tough terrain.

The bike also offers three selectable ABS modes—Road, Off-road, and Rally. Other prominent features include a USB charger, a rally-style windshield, and closed-loop knuckle guards.

Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition: Engine and Hardware

Hero hasn’t changed mechanical specifications, which means the Dakar Edition will have the same 199.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired with a five-speed gearbox.
