The Hero Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R can be booked for a token amount of Rs 10,000, with deliveries expected to begin by the end of March.

Hero MotoCorp has officially opened bookings for the Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R in India. These new models mark Hero’s expansion into the premium motorcycle segment, catering to adventure and sportbike enthusiasts alike. The Xpulse 210, priced at Rs 1.76 lakh (ex-showroom), is an upgraded version of the popular Xpulse 200, designed for off-road and touring capabilities, featuring a more powerful engine and enhanced features. Meanwhile, the Xtreme 250R aims to offer a thrilling riding experience with its sporty design and dynamic performance. It retails for an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.80 lakh. Both motorcycles come equipped with advanced technology, refined ergonomics, and modern styling, making them strong contenders in their respective segments. With bookings now open, Hero MotoCorp is set to strengthen its position in the Indian two-wheeler market.

Hero Xpulse 210: Key Details

When it comes to appearance, the Xpulse 210 stands out with its distinctive round LED headlamp, complemented by a clear visor and seamlessly integrated LED turn indicators. The tubular handlebars and single-piece seat contribute to its sleek yet functional design.

On the mechanical front, the Xpulse 210 is powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine that delivers 24.26bhp of maximum power and 20.7Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slipper and assist clutch for smoother shifts. The suspension setup includes telescopic front forks with 210mm travel and a rear monoshock offering 205mm travel. Braking is handled by front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, while the bike rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in tubed block-pattern tyres.

Lastly, tech-wise, the Xpulse 210 is equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT display featuring an intuitive layout. This system supports Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, and displays key information such as speed, gear position, and trip details.

Hero Xtreme 250R: Design, Engine, and Hardware

The Xtreme 250R boasts a striking design, featuring a sculpted fuel tank with prominent extensions and a low-set headlamp that contribute to its sleek yet sporty stance. Additional design elements include a split-seat configuration, a robust exhaust system, and a sharply contoured tail section. Hero MotoCorp has showcased the motorcycle in Black and Red, though more color options are expected in the future. The overall aesthetic blends various design influences, resulting in a distinct and visually appealing motorcycle.

Hero Xtreme 250R

The motorcycle is equipped with a 250cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve engine paired with a six-speed gearbox. This newly developed powertrain, which also features in the forthcoming Karizma XMR 250, generates 30bhp of peak power at 9,250rpm and 25Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. It boasts an impressive 0 to 60km/h acceleration time of 3.25 seconds. Additionally, an assist and slipper clutch is included in the setup.

Built on a steel trellis frame – an evolved version of the Karizma XMR’s chassis – the bike is equipped with 17-inch wheels, disc brakes on both ends, and switchable ABS. Suspension duties are managed by 43mm USD forks at the front and a 6-step preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking system features single petal-type discs with ByBre calipers, while a balanced 50-50 weight distribution enhances grip and maneuverability.

In terms of features, the Xtreme 250R is fitted with a TFT digital instrument cluster offering Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone integration. This includes turn-by-turn navigation, media controls, vehicle diagnostics, and real-time notifications for calls and messages. Additional highlights include a drag timer, lap timer, all-LED lighting, and an array of modern tech enhancements.
