The Keeway K-Light 250V comes as the first motorcycle in the segment with a twin-cylinder engine.
Keeway has launched the K-Light 250V cruiser motorcycle in India at Rs 2.89 lakh (ex-showroom). In the domestic market, the K-Light 250V goes up against the likes of Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Honda H’Ness CB350 among others.
Unlike its single-cylinder rivals, the K-Light 250V is powered by an air-cooled 250cc V-twin engine that outputs 18.4bhp at 8,500rpm and 19Nm at 5,500rpm. Also, the K-Light 250V is the first motorcycle in its segment to come with a belt final drive as compared to the chain final drives like its rivals.
The motorcycle gets a fuel tank capacity of 20 litres which surpasses any of its rivals. This has been achieved with the weight in check as well as the K-Light 250V tips the scale at 179kg.
It gets a very accessible seat height of 715mm with a decent ground clearance of 160mm which could make you less worried about the horrid potholes on our roads. The K-Light 250V gets 16-inch rims on either end wrapped around in a chunky 120/80 section tyre at the front and 140/70 section tyre at the back. Moreover, the company is offering dual-channel ABS as a standard for the motorcycle.
The Keeway K-Light 250V comes in three colours including Matte Blue at Rs 2.89 lakh, Matte Dark Grey at Rs 2.99 lakh and Matte Black at Rs 3.09 lakh. All prices ex-showroom.
