Triumph has launched the Limited Edition Speed Triple 1200 RX globally, presenting a bold reinterpretation of its premier streetfighter with a focus on visual flair and rider comfort. While the RX retains the same 1,160cc triple engine – delivering a commanding 180.5bhp and 128Nm of torque – it departs from the standard model with a distinctive paint scheme and a focus on reducing weight. Key changes include a revised aluminum twin-spar frame and lightweight alloy wheels, keeping the motorcycle’s wet weight at 199kg. Rider ergonomics sees meaningful upgrades, thanks to a more spacious and slightly elevated handlebar that enhances control and long-ride comfort. Complementing the chassis improvements are Ohlins SmartEC3 semi-active suspension and a 5-inch TFT display equipped with Triumph’s connectivity suite, enabling features like navigation and GoPro operation.

The bike is equipped with a lightweight Akrapovic exhaust that features a titanium wrap and carbon fibre end cap, along with a performance seat marked with RX branding – together, these enhancements improve both the bike’s aesthetics and its efficiency by shedding additional weight.
Powering the RX is the same 1,160cc inline-triple engine found in the Speed Triple 1200 RS, generating 180.5bhp at 10,750rpm and 127Nm of torque at 8,750rpm. A six-speed gearbox with a quickshifter handles power delivery. While the engine itself remains unchanged, the RX stands apart thanks to several performance-oriented updates.
The RX is upgraded with Ohlins Smart EC3 semi-active suspension and a newly introduced electronic steering damper, which adjusts damping settings automatically depending on riding conditions, with options for manual adjustments via the 5-inch TFT display. Despite these additions, the bike's wet weight remains at 199kg, matching the RS.
Braking duties are handled by Brembo Stylema callipers, paired with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres for superior grip. The RX carries over several advanced electronics from the RS, including quickshifter, wheelie control, traction control, and cornering ABS.
New additions for 2025 include cruise control, a brake slide assist function for track use, and adjustable engine braking. Moreover, additional features come in the form of keyless ignition, smartphone connectivity, and a brake light that flashes during heavy deceleration to alert other drivers.

With only 1,200 units available worldwide, the Speed Triple 1200 RX is priced at 18,995 Euros (roughly Rs 21.46 lakh) in the UK. This version is geared toward riders seeking a more track-focused and exclusive alternative to the RS, providing a balance of road and track performance.
