MV Agusta Dragster Series arrives in India at ₹ 18.73 lakhs

Motoroyale by Kinetic has launched MV Agusta's famed Dragster range of naked streetfighter motorcycles in India, with prices starting from ₹ 18.73 lakhs.

After launching the limited-edition Brutale 800 RR America, F3 800 RC & the Turismo Veloce 800 in India this year, Motoroyale India has now brought in the fourth MV Agusta offering of the year in the form of the Dragster range of motorcycles. MV Agusta's Dragster range consists of three derivatives: the 800 RR, 800 RR America & the 800 RR Pirelli. Like the Brutale 800 RR America, the Dragster range has also been priced at ₹ 18.73 lakhs (800 RR & 800 RR America). However, the 800 RR Pirelli carries a slightly higher price tag of ₹ 21.50 lakhs. All prices are ex-showroom.

Apart from the visual differences (paint finish/livery/colour combinations), all three derivatives remain mechanically identical to each other. MV Agusta's Dragster range of streetfighters is powered by the same 798cc, three-cylinder DOHC motor as the standard Brutale 800RR. The engine's tuning also remains unchanged, with the three-pot motor producing 138bhp at 12,300rpm & 87Nm of torque at 10,100rpm. The suspension duties are managed by 43mm Marzocchi USD forks at the front & a Sachs progressive monoshock (with preload adjust) at the rear. All three derivatives of the Dragster range come fitted with twin 320mm discs at the front & a single 220mm disc at the rear. The brake discs are mounted by Brembo callipers on either end. Further, the long list of riding aids includes bits like a Bosch 9 Plus ABS unit with Rear-Lift Mitigation (RLM) & an MV EAS 2.0 Quickshifter.
