Under the skin, the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce houses the same heart as the F3 and the Brutale 800. The 798cc three-cylinder liquid-cooled motor produces 110bhp and 80Nm of torque. All that power can take it up to a top speed of 230km/h.

Motoroyale has brought the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 to India at ₹ 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch event took place after the inauguration of the new Motoroyale dealership in Navi Mumbai.

With the exception of a few special edition versions of the Brutale 800 and the F3, we haven’t heard much from MV Agusta over the last few years. This, however, changed today, as the company has entered into a new segment in India with the launch of the Turismo Veloce 800. The Turismo Veloce 800 is priced at ₹ 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the first three customers will qualify for a special introductory price of ₹ 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Further, expect Motoroyale to bring the Turismo Veloce Lusso SCS version sometime next year.

Like you’d expect from any offering that wears the MV Agusta badge, the Turismo Veloce is quite a stunner. At the front, it has the same diamond-shaped headlight as fully-faired offerings such as the F3 & F4. It gets a large windscreen, knuckle guards, a neatly integrated quarter fairing, and a triple-edged exhaust just like the F3. Like all other MV Agustas, this one too has that sporty single-sided swingarm.

Under the skin, the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce houses the same heart as the F3 and the Brutale 800. The 798cc three-cylinder liquid-cooled motor produces 110bhp and 80Nm of torque. All that power can take it up to a top speed of 230km/h. The Turismo Veloce tips the scale at just 191kg (dry weight).

Paired with a 6-speed transmission, the motorcycle gets a slipper clutch as well as a quick shifter. It gets a long list of electronic aids, including eight levels of traction control, a Bosch-sourced ABS unit, and multiple rider modes. Suspension duties are performed by 43mm Marzocchi Upside-Down (USD) forks at the front and a Sachs monoshock at the rear – both fully-adjustable. Braking power comes from two 320mm discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear.

The MV Agusta Turismo Veloce competes with the likes of the Triumph Tiger XRx and the Ducati Multistrada 950. Along with the launch of the new motorcycle, a new Motoroyale outlet was also inaugurated in Navi Mumbai, which is the brand's 7th dealership in the country. Motoroyale is also planning to set up an international dealership in Bhutan in the coming months.
