New Triumph Bonneville T120 bookings commence

Bookings of the new Bonneville T120 commence in India across 12 dealerships. 

After announcing the prices of its new Bonneville range at the 2016 Auto Expo in February, Triumph Motorcycles has commenced the bookings of the new Bonneville T120 in India. Priced at Rs 8.70 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the T120 joins the new Street Twin in the Bonnie range for India. The duo will also be joined by the Thruxton R within next few months.

The new Triumph T120 is powered by the company’s all-new 1200cc ‘high torque’ 8-valve, parallel twin engine developing 79bhp @ 6,550 rpm and 105Nm @ 3,100rpm. The engine comes mated to 6-speed transmission. The new engine delivers 54 per cent more torque than its predecessor. Triumph claims the engine is built to deliver more torque lower down and across the rev range.

In addition to the new engine, the T120 is said to have an all-new chassis and suspension set-up as well. The motorcycle is tuned for relaxed and refined every day riding, says Triumph. Rider aids such as ABS, traction control, slipper clutch, heated grips, ride-by-wire, and switchable riding modes – Road and Rain. Among other highlights, the T120 has LED DRLs, USB charge socket, engine immobilizer, etc. 

Four colours are offered on the T120 - Cranberry Red and Aluminium Silver, Jet Black and Pure White, Jet Black, and Cinder Red. The company is also offering accessories on the motorcycle.
