Okinawa Praise e-scooter launched in India
Okinawa has launched its second vehicle, the Praise, in India. It will be the second vehicle in Okinawa’s lineup after the Ridge, as is positioned as a premium offering in the e-scooter space.

Okinawa has launched the all-new Praise in India. It will be the second vehicle in Okinawa’s lineup after the Ridge, and is positioned as a premium offering in the e-scooter space.
The Praise comes across as a rather stylish e-scooter with its front apron mounted LED headlamp. The front panel also spreads along the sides where it houses another strip of LED daytime running lights. The turn indicators, which resemble a shark’s fin, are housed on the steering.
The Okinawa Praise is loaded to the brim with many features like anti-theft feature with ‘find my scooter’ location tracker, telescopic front fork, rear suspension with gas charge, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, mobile charging point, keyless start, LED lights, front disc brake, and most impressively - three riding modes - Economy, Sporty and Turbo. Furthermore, the latest e-scooter from Okinawa also features electronic assist braking system (EABS), which enables the re-generation of power.
The Praise draws its power from a 72V/ 45Ah battery, which can be had as either VRLA type or Lithium-ion type. The former takes between 6 - 8 hours to recharge, while the latter drops that time to just one hour. The Praise has a max power of 1,000 Watt combined with a BLDC motor, whereas the output power stands at 2,500 Watt.
Okinawa claims that the Praise is one of the fastest accelerating and longest running e-scooters in India. It can last between 170 - 200 km on a single charge, depending on usage. Also, the Praise is capable of achieving a top speed of 75km/h in the Turbo riding mode.
Okinawa has also partnered with HDFC bank for easy financing options on its e-scooters.
