Even in this matte black shade, the price of the Suzuki Burgman Street remains unchanged. The scooter is now on sale in four colours including the newly added metallic matte black

It has been a year since the introduction of the Suzuki Burgman Street in India. At the time of its launch last year, the scooter was only on sale in three colour options - Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Mirage White. The Japanese bike maker has now added a fourth colour option to the scooter – matte black. Even in this new shade, the Burgman Street carries the same sticker price of Rs 69,208 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Speaking about the launch, Devashish Handa, Vice President SMIPL said, “Suzuki Burgman Street has created a special place in the 125cc scooter segment in India by offering its unique value proposition and international big scooter heritage. Redefining luxury riding with comfort and style, Burgman Street continues to be the ultimate urban scooter, offering a captivating ride to the customers.”

Since this is just the addition of a new colour, there are no changes to the engine. It continues to push out 8.6bhp and 10.2Nm from a 124cc motor. The Suzuki Burgman Street comes fitted with a disc brake up front and a drum setup at the rear. In line with the new regulations, the Burgman comes with Combined Braking System (CBS). The Suzuki Burgman Street is high in terms of features too. It comes with LED lights, multi-function fully digital instrumentation, front windscreen, lidded front box with optional USB charger and more.

The Burgman Street has been consistently bringing in the numbers for Suzuki. In fact, it has been the second best-selling offering from Suzuki after the Access 125 and accounts for more than 10 percent of the sales for Suzuki. The company has sold more than 37,000 units of the 125cc offering so far this year. Just last week, Suzuki also added a new colour to the Access 125 SE.
