Suzuki Gixxer SP limited edition revealed ahead of launch

Suzuki Motorcycle India will launch a new limited special edition of their Gixxer line up called the Gixxer SP.

A Suzuki Motorcycle dealer has revealed images of a new upcoming limited edition version of the Gixxer. The Gixxer SP, the limited edition version will get a grey paint job with new racing graphics and will be available on both the standard Gixxer and the faired Gixxer SF version of the bike.

The Gixxer and the Suzuki Gixxer SF both come with a 154.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, that churns out 13hp and 14Nm of torque. However, it is unconfirmed if the Gixxer SP will receive any mechanical updates. it has been confirmed  that the SP version of the bike will not get fuel injection, but Suzuki will launch the fuel injection version of their Gixxer line up later in the year, as they revealed at the Auto Expo in February.

The images revealed by the dealer show that the seats on both bikes have been changed to a dual tone red and black colour scheme. The rims are also painted black with a red pinstripe.

The dealer has hinted that the limited edition Suzuki Gixxer SP will be launched around the festive season. But the pricing we expect it to be slightly higher compared to the standard bikes.
