After Bengaluru, TVS has launched its new iQube electric scooter in Delhi primarily because of the incentives offered by the new EV policy in the state.

The TVS iQube electric scooter was launched in Bengaluru in January last year at an on-road price of ₹1.15 lakh. And today, TVS has launched it in New Delhi at a relatively lower on-road price of ₹1.08 lakh (post FAME & Delhi state subsidy). The scooter will be available at select dealerships across the city in a single white colour option. Those who are interesting can book it online on the TVS website for ₹5,000. Plus, the iQube also falls under TVS Credit's finance schemes.

Powering the TVS iQube is a 4.4kW (5.9bhp) electric motor, which draws its power from a 2.25kWh Li-ion battery. With a top speed of 78km/h, the iQube can travel up to 75kms on a full charge. Its 0 to 40km/h time is pegged at 4.2 seconds. And it can be charged in five hours via a standard 5A wall socket.

On the feature front, TVS is offering the iQube with its SmartXonnect platform, which works via a digital TFT instrument cluster. Coupled with the iQube smartphone app, the SmartXonnect system allows the rider to access a multitude of connected features and information such as navigation assist, geo-fencing, battery charge status, last park location, riding range indicator, ride stats, speed alert, and incoming call/SMS alerts.

Apart from connected features, the iQube also comes with a 'Q-park Assist', all-LED lighting, an illuminated logo, Economy & Power ride modes, day & night display, and regenerative braking (the energy from the brakes is used to charge the battery).

For charging support, TVS is offering the choice of a 'SmartXHome' charging station, with Bluetooth connectivity, live charging status, and RFID-enabled security.
