Ntorq New Colours 500x261

Two new metallic colours launched for TVS’ latest scooter.

The recently introduced TVS NTorq 125 was only available in four colours at launch. Now, the 125cc scooter’s colour palette has been expanded to six options with the introduction of new Metallic Blue and Metallic Grey shades.

The new Ntorq is powered by a 124.79cc engine that churns out 9.3bhp of power and 10.5Nm of torque, which makes it the most powerful scooter in its class. TVS claims that the Ntorq can accelerate from 0 to 60km/h in just 9 seconds and has a top speed of 95km/h. Suspension duties are performed by telescopic forks up front and twin-tube gas charged setup at the back. Also standard is a disc brake up front.

TVS calls the NTorq a connected scooter, and therefore it features some segment-first connectivity features. Riders can connect their mobile phones to the scooter via Bluetooth using TVS’ application. When connected, the instrument screen can display phone battery strength, navigation assist, incoming SMS, incoming call, phone signal strength and more.

Aesthetically, the NTorq is a handsome scooter with neat cuts and ridges all around. The front apron is wide and houses the headlight and a DRL. The sharp design language continues at the back with a stunning tail light LED signature and chunky exhaust. The NTorq is also the first scooter to come fitted with an engine kill switch. Other features like alloy wheels and mobile phone charger also come standard.

Priced at Rs 58,750 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the scooter competes with the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Grazia and Aprilia SR 125 in the Indian market.
