2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso launched in India at Rs 4.25 lakh
The revised Maruti Suzuki S-Presso has arrived. In its new avatar, the car now comes with the brand's K10C petrol engine and additional features. It will take on the Renault Kwid and Hyundai Santro among others in India.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2022 S-Presso in India at Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is available across five variants and comes with new features and the K10C petrol engine.
2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso: Engine
Starting with the heart of the matter, the new K10C engine in the S-Presso is a 1.0-litre unit that outputs 66bhp and 89 Nm of torque. The car comes with an option of either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. In the new version, the car also gets an idle start/stop function and Maruti Suzuki claims an increased fuel efficiency of 25.30kmpl for the AMT version and up to 24.6kmpl for the manual variants.
2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso: Feautures
The new S-Presso gets new features as well. Higher variants including the VXi+ and VXi+ (O) variants are now equipped with an air purifier, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, reverse parking sensors, and an electronic stability program with hill-hold assist for all AMT variants. Additionally, the S-Presso now also receives security alerts, vehicle tracking, geo-fencing, live status updates, and driving reports among others.
In just around three years since its launch, Maruti Suzuki has sold over 2 lakh units of the S-Presso in India and with higher fuel efficiency, the company expects to improve the numbers further. In the domestic market, the S-Presso takes on the Renault Kwid and Hyundai Santro among others.
