The updated Verna gets a refreshed look with a redesigned front section. It now features a black chrome radiator grille along with dual LED projector headlamps. Hyundai has also reworked the front and rear bumpers, which gives the sedan a slightly sharper appearance. The car now sits on new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Hyundai has also added two new colour options called Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte, giving buyers more choices when selecting their Verna.
Hyundai has focused on comfort and convenience. The driver’s seat now offers eight-way electric adjustment along with a memory function and a welcome retract feature. The front passenger seat gets four-way electric adjustment. Other updates include leatherette upholstery, a D-cut steering wheel, a rear window sunshade and a smart trunk function that makes loading luggage easier in everyday use.
The sedan features dual 10.25-inch screens that handle the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. The infotainment setup includes a switchable panel that allows users to toggle between climate control and media controls. Hyundai has also equipped the sedan with an eight-speaker Bose sound system along with more than 70 connected car features through the Bluelink platform.
Under the hood, the 2026 Verna continues with two 1.5-litre petrol engines. The naturally aspirated engine produces 115 bhp and 144 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged unit delivers 160bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for the turbo variants.
On the safety front, the Verna comes with Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS with 20 features. Six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist and three-point seatbelts for all occupants are offered as standard across the range.
