Renault India has updated the Triber for 2026 with a stronger focus on everyday usability, adding practical features like automatic climate control, easier third-row access with a one-touch tumble function, and full-fold second-row seats that expand boot space to 1,065 litres. The Triber remains one of the most accessible three-row options for Indian families, and this update builds on that formula without changing its core appeal. Prices now range from Rs 5.80 lakh to Rs 8.00 lakh (ex-showroom), keeping it competitive in the budget MPV space.

The big change is Renault’s decision to spread updates across all four variants, Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Instead of loading only the top trim, Renault has worked on making each version feel better equipped. In a market where buyers look closely at value, this approach makes more sense and gives the Triber lineup a stronger overall appeal.
The Evolution variant now gets steering-mounted audio and phone controls, a day-and-night IRVM, and a rear room lamp. These may seem like small additions, but they improve day-to-day use. For buyers stepping into the mid-spec range, these features make the Triber feel more complete without a major jump in price.
The Techno variant sees more meaningful additions. Renault has added driver seat height adjustment, a driver armrest, rear defogger, front tweeters, a 12V socket for third-row passengers, and electrically foldable ORVMs. These are practical changes that improve comfort, especially for families who regularly use all three rows.
The top-spec Emotion variant now gets automatic climate control, which was a needed addition. Renault has also introduced a one-touch tumble function for easier third-row access across all trims. This should make getting into the back row less of a task, particularly in everyday family use.

Another useful upgrade is the full-fold second-row seat, which expands boot space to 1,065 litres. That flexibility continues to be one of the Triber’s biggest strengths. It can switch from people carrier to luggage mover without much effort, which is exactly what many family buyers need.
Inside, Renault has retained the 20.32cm floating touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The cabin design remains familiar, but the modular seating layout still sets the Triber apart. Buyers can configure it as a 5, 6, or 7-seater, giving it an edge in practicality over many similarly priced rivals.

The Triber continues with the same 1.0-litre petrol engine producing 72bhp and 96Nm. Gearbox choices include a five-speed manual and the Easy-R AMT, with the AMT limited to the Emotion variant. Renault has left the mechanical package unchanged, choosing instead to strengthen the ownership experience through added features.
For buyers looking for an affordable family vehicle with flexible seating, practical features, and stronger value, the 2026 Renault Triber stays firmly in the game.
