The Nissan Gravite emerged as the star of March sales for Nissan. It sold 2,375 units in its first month on sale, more than its platform sibling, the Renault Triber, which sold 2,011 units during the same period. The Gravite was launched in India in February 2026, with prices ranging between Rs 5.65 lakh and Rs 8.94 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the MPV commenced on the same day for a token amount of Rs 11,000, while deliveries of the first batch began in early March.
The MPV emerged as the brand’s top contributor in the previous month, outselling the Nissan Magnite as well. It held a notable 53.88% market share, compared to Magnite, which sold 2,033 units and had a share of 46.12%.

The Nissan Gravite mirrors the proportions of the Renault Triber but sets itself apart with some unique elements, such as a gloss-black grille with hexagonal detailing, reworked bumpers with silver C-shaped inserts, and signature ‘Gravite’ branding. LED DRLs, connected taillamps, and 15-inch steel wheels complete the look.

Inside, the MPV stands out with a dual-tone cabin that houses an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless connectivity, a 7-inch digital display, manual AC with rear vents, flat-bottom steering, and multiple storage spaces.
March turned out to be a profitable month for Nissan in India, as the brand recorded 4,408 units in domestic wholesales, its highest in five years. Compared to 2,484 units in March last year, this exhibits a 77% year-on-year growth. However, on a month-on-month basis, the introduction and deliveries of the Nissan Gravite drove a sharp surge, with sales rising 98% over February 2026, when Nissan had supplied 2,230 units. Exports reached 5,980 units in the month of March 2026.
