Audi India has opened bookings for the 2021 Q2 at Rs. 2 lakh, with a range of complementary ownership benefits for the baby SUV. The Q2 will be the fifth Audi launch in India in the 2020 calendar year. Expect prices to range between Rs. 33 lakh to Rs. 38 lakh, ex-showroom.
Audi India has commenced bookings for its smallest SUV that’s set to reach Indian shores soon. The Audi Q2 has been around internationally for a few years now, with the first model being launched internationally in 2017. After receiving a mid-cycle 2021 update, the baby SUV is finally destined for India.
The Audi Q2 competes with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1 and Volvo XC40. Like elsewhere, in India too, entry-level luxury SUVs provide the perfect stepping stone for aspiring luxury SUV buyers.
For India, the Q2 will be offered with the VW Group’s 2.0-litre, four cylinder, TFSI turbo petrol engine that’s good for 188bhp of max power and 320Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to all the wheels via a seven-speed DSG autobox and quattro all-wheel drive. This gives the Audi Q2 for India a sprightly 0-100km/h time of 6.5 seconds.
While prices are expected to hover in the range of Rs. 33 to 38 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Audi Q2, bookings are now officially open for the SUV at Rs. 2 lakh. As an initial offering, Audi India will be providing a 5 year comprehensive service package, 2+3 year Extended Warranty and 2+3 year complimentary Road Side Assistance.
