Auto Expo 2023: The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, which made its world debut in 2021, was recently unveiled for Indian buyers at the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida. The SUV gained a GR Sport and a 70th-anniversary edition in select global markets with a generation update. Official bookings for the new Land Cruiser LC300 have already begun in India. According to the manufacturer, the SUV will arrive in India as a completely imported unit and will be priced at Rs 2.17 crore (ex-showroom). In India, it will be available in five exterior colours – Precious White Pearl, Super White, Dark Red Mica Metallic, Attitude Black, and Dark Blue Mica – and three interior colour schemes. Two engine choices are offered for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in global markets – a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine and a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine. While the former is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 409bhp and 650Nm, the latter produces 305bhp of maximum power and 700Nm of peak torque. The India-spec model gets a ten-speed automatic transmission and only comes with the oil burner, which sends power to all four wheels. It has a three-year/one lakh kilometres standard vehicle warranty.

The Toyota Land Cruiser 300's list of features includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a JBL sound system, LED headlights, and several drive modes, among others. It is supported by Toyota's TNGA-F platform, thanks to the new ladder frame construction, which has resulted in reduced weight and enhanced ride comfort.

The new Land Cruiser LC300 has more than 200kgs and has better suspension and weight distribution. Its off-road capabilities are further enhanced by the improved wheel articulation. According to the manufacturer, the use of the Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System has improved road holding as well. The LC300 has a departure angle of 26.5 degrees and a ground clearance of 230mm.

The model's upright stance and lofty pillars have been retained. At the expo, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 was showcased with the Toyota Innova Hycross, the GX edition of the same MPV, and the Mirai fuel cell electric car.
