BMW has updated the 3 Series Gran Turismo for India with the new Shadow Edition in M Sport spec with blacked-out exterior trim elements. As of now, only the 3 GT model is on sale.

BMW has launched a new Shadow Edition variant of the 3 Series Gran Turismo in M Sport spec to lend a distinguished appeal to the standard version of the car. As its name suggests, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition features dark accents all around the car to make it look elegant and stylish. The car gets an all-black kidney grille unit, black ORVM casings, window sills, and B & C pillars, along with black garnish on the lower section of the front aprons. The 18-inch alloy wheels are finished in jet black, while the tailpipe gets black chrome trim as well.

There are no changes in the cabin, aside from a complimentary universal wireless phone charging pad.

BMW India’s official pricelist now lists the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition as the only 3 GT model in India as of now. So the earlier M Sport model is now available as the Shadow Edition. The new BMW 3 Series GT Shadow Edition is priced at Rs 42.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s available in 330i spec – its 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine develops 252bhp of max power and 350Nm of peak torque. The engine is, of course, mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.

'The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is a unique vehicle concept in the segment and has become a trailblazer with its distinctive and modern character. The new "Shadow Edition" is an amalgamation of luxurious elegance and sportiness in even more sophisticated form. Available in limited units, the "Shadow Edition" offers our discerning customer one last opportunity to own this legendary icon of the successful model. It combines the best of both worlds – an embodiment of pure dynamism and a sense of spaciousness,' said, Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India.
