Face-lifted 2016 Jaguar XJ launched at Rs. 98.09 lakh

Jaguar has launched the face-lifted 2016 model year XJ in India with three variants on offer and prices ranging between Rs. 98.09 lakh to Rs. 1.05 crore, ex-showroom Mumbai.

Jaguar has launched the updated 2016 model of its flagship XJ luxury limousine in India ahead of the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo in Greater Noida. The face-lifted Jaguar XJ gets cosmetic enhancements in the form of new head lamps featuring daytime running LED elements in what Jaguar calls a double ‘J Blade Signature’ design. The update has also given the car a more upright front grille, the LED tail lamps are also new, and then there are the new elliptical tail pipes at the pack and a new rear bumper as well.

Inside the 2016 Jaguar XJ is a remodeled high definition31.24cm instrument cluster panel display. And to enhance usability, the instrument panel display incorporates a 20.32cm touchscreen interface. The front seats get fine-tuned electric adjustment with 5 different massage settings. The airline style rear seats gets three massage functions with memory and can be programmed to become upright when the door is opened. The air suspension has also been revised to make for an even more refined ride. There is more here to pamper occupants in the form of individual 25.90cm HD screens, LED reading lights, drop-in foot rests, electric window sun blinds multimedia controls in the centre arm rest.

Engine options for the 2016 Jaguar XJ are a 2.0 litre, four cylinder, 237bhp turbocharged petrol engine and a 3.0 litre, six cylinder, turbo diesel engine developing 296bhp of maximum power. The petrol fueled XJ is available in the Portfolio variant while the diesel model is on offer in Premium Luxury and Portfolio variants.
