
Honda City Apex Edition Launched in India, Prices Start at Rs 13.30 Lakh

Honda has introduced the City Apex Edition in India, enhancing its popular sedan lineup with appealing upgrades over the standard model. Priced between Rs 13.30 lakh and Rs 15.62 lakh (ex-showroom), the special edition offers both visual and feature enhancements, appealing to driving enthusiasts. Key exterior updates include a unique Apex badging, lending a dynamic edge to its design. Inside, premium upholstery and advanced features elevate the cabin experience. Powered by a refined 1.5-litre petrol engine, the City Apex Edition continues Honda’s tradition of delivering strong performance and fuel efficiency. With this launch, the automaker aims to further strengthen its position in the competitive mid-size sedan segment in India.
Honda City Apex Edition: Key Highlights

The City Apex Edition kit is offered as an optional upgrade for the V and VX trims, available with both manual and automatic transmission options, and can be purchased directly at authorised dealerships. This exclusive edition will only be available for a limited time.

Key enhancements include a beige interior theme, specially designed seat covers and cushions, ambient lighting with seven colour options, premium leatherette accents on the dashboard and console, leather-trimmed door panels, and a unique 'Apex Edition' badging on the sedan's exterior. It is important to note that the ambient lighting feature can be bought separately for Rs 7,500 SV, V, VX, and ZX versions.

Honda City Apex Edition: Powertrain
There are no changes to the mechanical setup. The sedan continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 119bhp of maximum power and 145Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT automatic transmission. The ARAI-certified fuel efficiency stands at 17.8km/l for the manual variant and 18.4km/l for the automatic.
In terms of features, the Honda City also offers an 8-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, keyless entry, a four-speaker sound system, a telescopic and tilt-adjustable steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, steering-mounted controls, push-button start/stop, and automatic climate control.
