Hyundai Alcazar Launch in India

The three-row Hyundai Alcazar recently got a significant styling overhaul, a Creta-like interior, and new features with the facelift. The powertrain options remain the same, though. Priced from Rs 14.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), the new Hyundai Alcazar is available in four variants – Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. Interested buyers can choose from a range of new shades: Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte, Starry Night, and Titan Grey Matte, as well as Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof.

Underneath the surface, the new Hyundai Alcazar is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former generates 157.8bhp and 253Nm and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the latter produces 114.4bhp and 250Nm and comes with either a 6MT or a 6AT gearbox. Also up for offer are three drive modes – sport, comfort, and eco – and three traction control modes – snow, sand, and mud.
