The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift is now set to go on sale in India during the festive season (September-October), according to the most recent market report. The launch was initially planned for mid-2024, however, it is now pushed for a few months to clear the inventory of the current model. In its new form, the SUV is expected to feature new headlamps and linked LED DRLs, inspired by the 2024 Creta. It is also likely to get a redesigned grille, dual chrome exhausts, and L-shaped LED taillights. The Hyundai Alcazar is currently priced between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). With feature and cosmetic changes, you might expect a little increase in these prices. Continue reading to learn more about Hyundai's new major facelift for the year after the 2024 Creta.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Interior and Features

The new Alcazar's interior is likely to sport the redesigned Creta's dashboard, with two 10.25-inch screens (one for the infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster). It could have some similar features, like Level 2 ADAS, dual-zone climate control, and a 360-degree camera. The Alcazar will likely remain available in six- and seven-seat variants. It may include more Bose speakers and a head-up display, among other features not present on the new Creta.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Engine

We don't expect any significant modifications to the technical specs, which include a 1.5-litre diesel engine (114.4bhp/250Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (157bhp/253Nm). The former has a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission), while the latter is available with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar: Price and Rivals

The upcoming facelift is expected to command a premium of between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 above the existing price. It will compete with existing rivals such as the Mahindra XUV700, the Tata Safari, and the MG Hector Plus.
