New Hyundai Exter: Design

Hyundai teased the Exter, but spy shots already reveal how it will ultimately appear. It has a square design, split headlamps, an angled snout, and a tailboard with a slanted rear glass. An LED taillight in the shape of an H is located at the back and replicates the front DRL. The wheel arches and cladding on Hyundai's smallest SUV are rounded and slightly flared. In addition to impressive dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails, and a textured C-pillar treatment, there are two-tone paint choices that lend the appearance of a floating roof.

New Hyundai Exter: Powertrain

Mechanically, the upcoming Exter SUV will get a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a compressed natural gas (CNG) option. Transmission duties on the CNG version will only be taken care of by a manual gearbox, whereas the petrol model will get an option of a five-speed manual and an AMT automatic transmission. The Exter is constructed on the same platform as the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and the Hyundai Aura.
