Lexus has commenced nationwide deliveries of the LX 500d for the 2025 model year in India. The price of the LX 500d starts at Rs 3 crore for the Urban variant and goes up to Rs 3.12 crore for the top-spec Overtrail variant. The latest model from Lexus stands out thanks to its sturdy, off-road-focused design. Significant black body accents, tough 18-inch grey-finished alloy wheels encased in all-terrain tyres, and a darkened spindle grille are important visual components. The SUV has a Khaki theme inside and is painted in a unique Moon Desert shade. The tough image is further highlighted by dark finishes on details like the fog lamp bezels, roof rails, mirror caps, wheel arch cladding, door handles, and side mouldings.

Under the hood, the Lexus LX 500d houses a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine, delivering 304.7bhp and 700Nm of torque across both its variants. This power is routed to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox, with a standard centre-locking differential that enhances grip and handling in varied conditions.
The Overtrail trim takes off-road performance a step further by adding front and rear locking differentials, significantly improving its ability to tackle rough and uneven terrain with greater precision and control.
The 2025 LX 500d also brings notable advancements in safety, thanks to the integration of Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. This suite offers an array of active driver aids, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert, and lane-keeping support.
In terms of connectivity, the SUV now features the latest Lexus Connected Technology, enabling access to features such as Remote Connect, Safety Connect, and Service Connect – all manageable via a smartphone app. Front passengers also benefit from newly added massage functions for enhanced comfort during long drives.
The luxury SUV’s feature set is extensive, boasting a 25-speaker premium sound system, two 11.6-inch entertainment displays for rear-seat passengers, a wireless charging pad, an 8-inch digital driver’s cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a separate 7-inch control screen for vehicle settings, a head-up display (HUD), and four-zone automatic climate control to ensure personalised comfort for all occupants.
