Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. announced a significant accomplishment with the delivery of the 1,00,000th XUV700, their flagship model. According to the carmaker, the XUV700 is the fastest SUV in its portfolio to have achieved this milestone, shattering all previous records in a brief period of time—less than 20 months. The manufacturer claims that within a year of the SUV's launch, it delivered the first 50,000 units, followed by the additional 50,000 vehicles in 8 months. In its official statement, the carmaker revealed boosting its production capacity to speed up deliveries of the XUV700 even more. In terms of market rivalry, the two-row version of the XUV700 rivals the likes of the Tata Harrier, the MG Hector, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Hyundai Creta, etc. Meanwhile, the three-row variant competes with the MG Hector Plus, the Hyundai Alcazar, and more. In our market, only the base and mid-spec models of the SUV come in the 5-seat configuration.
