Maruti Suzuki Jimny Attracts Discount of up to Rs 2.21 Lakh in December

Maruti Suzuki displayed the Jimny in a new avatar at the Auto Expo this year. After that, in June, the off-roader went on sale with prices starting at Rs 12.74 lakh for the base model and Rs 15.05 lakh for the top-spec automatic variant (ex-showroom). Since its introduction/launch in India, the lifestyle SUV has gathered immense market attention. The carmaker has decided to sustain its popularity and demand in the segment by providing year-end deals. Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Year-end Offers
The carmaker offers the Jimny in two different variants: Zeta and Alpha. Regarding discounts, the Jimny Zeta model (MT and AT) is available with benefits of up to Rs 2.21 lakh. It includes a corporate advantage of Rs 5,000 and a consumer discount of Rs 1.21 lakh. However, the Alpha version comes with offers up to Rs 1.21 lakh, which comprises a corporate bonus of Rs 5,000 and a consumer offer worth Rs 1.16 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Engine and Colours
Beneath the off-roader's skin, there's a single 1.5-litre naturally aspirated K15B petrol motor, which produces 134Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm and 103bhp at 6,000rpm. It utilises a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
For the Jimny, interested buyers can select from seven exterior tint options —Two dual-tone options (Kinetic Yellow with Black Roof and Sizzling Red with Black Roof) and five monotone options —(Bluish Black, Granite Grey, Pearl Arctic White, Sizzling Red, and Nexa Blue).
Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Features Onboard
The Jimny 5-door has six airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program (ESP), hill-hold assist, a rearview camera, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wifi Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a lot of other amenities.

To cut down the price of the new Jimny, Maruti Suzuki introduced the limited-edition Thunder Edition, which retails for Rs 10.74 lakh (ex-showroom). With an option of manual or automatic gears, the new edition is available in Zeta and Alpha variants. The Jimny Thunder Edition is similar to the standard model except for a few aesthetic upgrades — a front skid plate, side door cladding, door visor, floor mat, and exterior graphics, among others.
