Range Rover has rolled out a special-edition model in India – the SV Masara Edition, priced at Rs 4.99 crore (ex-showroom). This bespoke luxury SUV, handcrafted by the carmaker’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team, is a market-specific creation made exclusively for India and restricted to just 12 units nationwide. According to Range Rover, the name ‘Masara’ is derived from Sanskrit and is inspired by the rare sapphires found in the Himalayan region. Reflecting the brand’s commitment to rarity and craftsmanship, each vehicle is tailored to deliver a highly personalised experience. Buyers can register their interest through official dealerships, though the brand is yet to confirm the delivery schedule.
The Range Rover Masara Edition redefines understated luxury with a bespoke Satin Blue exterior that exudes elegance and exclusivity. Contrasting Corinthian Bronze accents adorn key elements like the tailgate, grille, door panels, and front and rear bumpers, offering a refined dual-tone aesthetic.

The copper-finished “RANGE ROVER” lettering on both the bonnet and tailgate further reflects the brand’s meticulous approach to design. Further highlighting its rarity, the Masāra Edition includes custom SV Bespoke tread plates, each etched with the edition’s name and an exclusive “1 of 12” identifier, serving as a clear reminder of the model’s ultra-limited production and bespoke craftsmanship. A set of large 23-inch forged alloy wheels enhances the SUV's commanding road presence.
Inside, the Masara Edition presents a richly appointed cabin draped in a striking dual-tone theme. The front seats are finished in deep blue leather, while the rear seats are upholstered in beige, creating a deliberate visual separation between the two rows. This colour pairing extends to the dashboard, creating a unified and elegant interior environment.
Exclusively configured as a four-seater, the rear cabin features a fixed centre console flanked by two individual rear seats, reminiscent of first-class airline seating. Finely embroidered stitching and specially crafted cushions – each in coordinating colours and embossed with the “Masara Edition” name.
True to its SV (Special Vehicle) designation, this edition is loaded with top-tier amenities. All seats are electrically adjustable and come with integrated heating, cooling, and massage functions. Rear passengers enjoy individual infotainment displays and a centre-console refrigerator to keep beverages chilled. The feature-rich cockpit also includes a full-length panoramic sunroof, a 35-speaker, 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System with active noise cancellation, four-zone climate control, a wireless charging pad, ambient lighting with customisable colours, a 13.1-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a high-fidelity Meridian audio system, and an electrically operated tailgate.

Safety and driver assistance technologies are equally comprehensive. Positioned at the pinnacle of the luxury SUV market, it competes directly with ultra-premium rivals like the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, Bentley Bentayga, and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
