Skoda’s popular sedan, the Slavia, is set to receive an update and is likely to debut in a facelifted avatar soon. A test model of the updated Slavia was recently spotted testing in Pune, hinting at the changes in store. Although the car was fully covered, a few updates at the front and rear could still be made out. These include a revised headlamp design with updated LED DRLs and reworked fog lamp housings. The lower grille also appears to come with a 3D pattern finished in piano black. That said, the overall stance of the sedan remains unchanged. Skoda is likely to introduce new alloy wheel designs, as the test car was seen with blacked-out alloys featuring a different spoke pattern. The Skoda Slavia facelift is also expected to come with a slightly tweaked rear profile, with minor bumper revisions and new taillamp internals.

While the current spy shots focus on the exterior, the Skoda Slavia facelift’s interior is also expected to undergo notable changes. Reports indicate the addition of a new infotainment interface, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The facelifted Slavia could also mark the introduction of Level 2 ADAS in the model range, bringing advanced safety features like forward collision warning, automatic high-beam assist, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot detection, and driver attention monitoring.
The facelifted Skoda Slavia is expected to carry forward the same engine options as the current model. The lineup comprises a 1.0-litre turbo petrol with 113bhp and 178Nm and a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, as well as a 1.5-litre turbo petrol with 148bhp and 250Nm and a 7-speed DSG automatic.
