BMW Group India sold 18,001 cars in 2025, marking a 14% increase over the previous year. Of these, BMW contributed 17,271 units, while Mini accounted for 730 units. BMW Motorrad also added to the success, with 5,841 motorcycles sold. The company closed Q4 2025 with its strongest quarterly results to date, delivering 6,023 units, a rise of 17% year-on-year. Sales are growing across segments, whether it is internal combustion engines or electric vehicles, SAVs or sedans, or long wheelbase models. Our lead in the luxury electric segment is not only progressing sustainable mobility but also unlocking the potential for increasing the size of the luxury car market in India. The automaker sold 3,753 EVs (both BMW and Mini), representing a whopping 200% year-on-year growth. EVs accounted for 21% of BMW Group India’s total sales, an increase of 8% from the previous year. The i7 dominated the luxury EV segment, while the iX1 emerged as the company’s and India’s best-selling premium EV.
The sales of long wheelbase models rose 162% year-on-year to 8,608 units. Compared to last year's share of 29%, the BMW Long Wheelbase cars now make up 50% of the total sales. In this segment, the 3 Series was the top-selling premium sedan.
The sales of BMW SUVs grew 22% year-on-year, with 10,748 units sold. SUVs account for 60% of total BMW sales. The BMW X1 was the best-seller, followed by the X5.
Mini sold 730 units, showing a growth of 3% year-on-year. The Cooper S was the best-selling car, with a notable 47% year-on-year growth.
BMW Motorrad sold 5,841 motorcycles in India. The G 310 RR was the most popular smart-cc bike, with an increase of over 24% in sales.

The imported high-end bike segment recorded 7% growth year-on-year, with the BMW S 1000 RR, 900 GS/GSA, and 1300 GS/GSA being the most sought-after models.
