Hero MotoCorp Clocks Total Sales Growth of 25.61% Year-on-Year in November

Hero MotoCorp's sales continued to rise, as evidenced by a 25.61% year-on-year increase in cumulative sales to 4,91,050 units in November 2023, which is an increase from 3,90,932 units sold in the same month the previous year. This represents a rise in volume of 1,00,118 vehicles. With 4,76,286 units sold in the home market, the company experienced a significant 25.39% year-on-year jump over 3,79,839 units sold in November 2022. The automaker credited the booming festive season and the positive mindset of buyers for the company's sales success. Compared to November of last year, when it sent 11,093 units overseas, the company shipped 14,764 units in the previous month, registering a favourable growth of 33.09%. Between April and November of FY2024, it sold 38,35,080 units, a consistent rise of 4.67% above the 36,63,875 vehicles delivered in FY2023.

Hero MotoCorp November 2023 Sales: What's More? 

In terms of category sales, motorcycle deliveries in particular rose by 25.07% YoY to 4,41,276 units sold last month, which is an increase from 3,52,834 vehicles delivered in November 2023. However, scooter sales also saw a 30.65% year-on-year rise, reaching 49,774 units from 38,098 units sold in the same month the previous year. 

Although scooter deliveries increased last month, the company witnessed a drop in MoM sales. There was a 14.59% MoM de-growth from 5,74,930 units sold in October 2023 to 4,91,050 units sold in November 2023.  Scooter sales jumped by 9.18% MoM from 45,589 units in October 2023 to 49,774 units in the last month, whereas sales of motorcycles dropped by 16.64% from 5,29,341 units sold in the same month the previous year.

In addition, the domestic market sales lowered from 5,59,766 vehicles delivered in October 2023 to 4,76,286 sold units in November 2023, a 14.91% decline. Moreover, exports fell by 2.64%, from 15,164 units exported in October 2023 to 14,764 units in November this year.

The two-wheeler automaker registered an outstanding 26.5% upsurge in cumulative sales for October 2023, with 5,74,930 units sold. It was a striking growth over the 4,54,582 vehicles delivered during the same month the previous year. In October, the sales of motorbikes alone reached 5,29,341 units, which showcased a 26.2% rise over the 4,19,568 vehicles delivered in October 2022. Furthermore, the scooter deliveries for the month stood at 45,589, representing a 30.2% rise from the 35,014 units sold in the same month in 2022.
