Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler maker, has announced a price hike for its select models, effective July 1, 2024. The two-wheeler manufacturer says the price revision will be up to Rs 1,500; however, the specific amount shall vary based on the model and market. While Hero has yet to provide specific details about the models affected by the price increase, it attributes this hike to higher input costs associated with inflation, product competitiveness, price positioning, and other factors.

The latest price hike follows two upward price revisions in July 2023 and October 2023. In July last year, the company implemented a price increase of around 1.5 per cent, while the company's scooters and motorcycles saw a hike of around 1 per cent in October 2023.
