Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has reported total sales of 5.74 lakh two-wheelers in January, exhibiting a 29% year-on-year growth over last year’s 4.45 lakh units. The company’s domestic two-wheeler sales reached 5.20 lakh units, a 28.94% YoY increase, while exports surged by 30.96% to 54,832 units. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis for FY26 (April 2025–January 2026), HMSI achieved cumulative sales of 52.53 lakh units, including 47.24 lakh units in the domestic market and 5.29 lakh units through exports.
Honda saw a sharp month-on-month (MoM) growth in January, with total two-wheeler sales rising by 28.78%. For reference, the company sold 4.46 lakh units in December 2025. Domestic sales saw a strong surge of 32.44%, increasing from 3.92 lakh units in December to 5.20 lakh units in January.

Meanwhile, exports recorded a modest growth of 2.03%, reaching 54,832 units last month compared to 53,742 units in December.
For the FY26 YTD period (April 2025–January 2026), Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India posted sales of 52.53 lakh units overall, an increase of a 5.45% over 49.82 lakh units sold during the same period last fiscal.
Domestic volumes stood at 47.24 lakh units, a rise of 4.02% YoY, while exports recorded a growth of 20.16%, reaching 5.29 lakh units.
