For May 2023, Hyundai is providing discounts and benefits on models like the Kona Electric, the Grand i10 Nios, the i20, and the Aura sedan of up to Rs 50,000. Exchange bonuses, cash discounts, or corporate benefits are some of the available offers. However, there are no discounts available for any of Hyundai's SUVs other than the Kona Electric. Meanwhile, the automaker recently revealed its sales figures for April 2023. It recorded total sales of 58,201 units in April 2023, compared to 56,201 units in April 2022, representing a 3.5% increase. Domestically, the company sold 49,701 units in April 2023, up from 44,001 in April 2022, representing a 12.95% increase. In the export segment, the company's sales fell to 8,500 units last month from 12,200 units in April 2022, a 30.3% decrease year-on-year. The Hyundai Creta was the firm's best-selling offering the previous month, according to the company. It outperformed its competitor, the Kia Seltos, selling 14,186 units. Now, let's have a detailed look at the available model-wise benefits from the South Korean brand.

Hyundai i20: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 20,000

This month, the i20 from Hyundai is offered with maximum benefits of up to Rs 20,000, but these benefits are only available on the Magna and the Sportz mid-spec variants. The premium hatchback is offered with either a 120bhp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine or an 83bhp, 1.2-litre petrol engine. With the implementation of RDE norms, the diesel engine on the i20 was recently discontinued. The i20 is a popular family hatchback with several high-end features. For the uninitiated, it is currently priced between Rs 7.46 lakh and Rs 11.88 lakh (ex-showroom). The Toyota Glanza, the Tata Altroz, and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno are some of its rivals in our home market.

Benefits of up to Rs 38,000 are offered for the Grand i10 Nios through May 2023. The recently redesigned compact hatchback has just one engine choice: an 83bhp, 1.2-litre petrol unit paired with either a 5-speed manual (MT) or an automatic manual gearbox (AMT). The Grand i10 Nios is a feature-rich hatchback with a well-designed interior that appears sophisticated. It competes with vehicles like the Tata Tiago and the Maruti Suzuki Swift. The Grand i10 Nios is available with a factory-fitted CNG kit and costs between Rs 5.73 lakh and Rs 8.51 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.

Hyundai Kona Electric: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 50,000

Hyundai is giving the Kona Electric SUV maximum discounts for May 2023, up to Rs 50,000. The Kona Electric, Hyundai's first electric vehicle for India, competes with models like the MG ZS EV and the just-released BYD Atto 3. It has a 39.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack and generates 136bhp of maximum power and 395Nm of peak torque. The EV has a claimed 57-minute charge time from 0 to 80 per cent using a 50kW DC charger and has an ARAI-certified range of 452-kilometre.

Hyundai i20 N Line: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 15,000

Additionally discounted in May 2023 is the i20's N Line model. Buyers can save up to Rs 15,000 on the i20 N Line this month, although it is the smallest discount offer among all the other models. The N Line is a sportier version of the standard i20 that still has the 120bhp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, but with performance improvements like a stiffer suspension setup, a louder exhaust, and quicker steering. To differentiate it from the typical hatchback, it also gets distinctive cosmetic features both inside and out. Between Rs 10.19 lakh and 12.31 lakh (ex-showroom) is the price range for the i20 N Line.
