With the latest price reduction, the starting price of the Mahindra XUV700's AX7 variant now stands at Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra has announced a temporary price reduction for the AX7 trims of its flagship SUV, the XUV700. The latest discounts, which go up to Rs 2.20 lakh, have been introduced to commemorate the SUV reaching the 2 lakh production mark in less than three years since its debut. According to the homegrown manufacturer, the price reductions will take effect on July 10 and last for four months. This lowers the starting price of the SUV's AX7 variant to Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The revised prices are expected to increase sales and make the feature-loaded high-spec AX7 trim levels more affordable for Indian buyers.

Mahindra XUV700 AX7: Feature Set

The feature list of the higher-spec AX7 variant comprises amenities like adaptive cruise control, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, dual 10.24-inch displays (one for the infotainment screen and one for digital instruments cluster) with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Level-2 ADAS, a blind view monitor, multiple drive modes, six-way power seat with memory function, push-button start, six airbags, dual-zone climate control, and reverse camera.

Mahindra XUV700: Engine Options

The XUV700 SUV comes with both petrol and diesel powerplant options. The petrol unit delivers 197bhp of maximum power and 380Nm of peak torque, whereas the oil burner produces up to 182bhp and 420Nm of torque (450Nm with automatic). Both powertrains are available with automatic and manual gearbox options.
